The OET Reading test requires you to find and understand critical information under significant time pressure.

 
I will show you how to:

• locate answers quickly and accurately across the three different question types in Part A

• avoid costly errors in main idea, opinion and detail questions in Parts B & C

• manage time effectively across all sections of the exam.

Following fast-paced clinical audio and identifying correct answers simultaneously is one of the biggest challenges of the OET Listening test. 

Together, we will work on:

• developing a strategic listening skill to recognise signposting language and key information that signals the correct answer

• implementing a 3-step strategy for what to do before, during and after each audio 

• mastering the specific techniques for each of the three different parts of the test to maximise your score.

The role-plays in OET Speaking test can feel unnatural and stressful, and it is often difficult to know what examiners are truly assessing.

To help you succeed, I will:

• decode the assessment criteria so you understand exactly what examiners are looking for

• teach you key language functions for taking history, explaining diagnosis and discussing treatment plans with structure, clarity and empathy

• provide challenging scenarios to practise difficult conversations, ensuring you are prepared for any situation.

The main challenge in OET Writing is transforming brief case notes into a clear, concise and well-structured clinical letter that incorporates all key information within the strict word limit. 

In this intensive, you will learn how to:

• convert case notes efficiently into well-structured referral, discharge and transfer letters that are proven to meet OET criteria

• identify and correct common grammar errors specific to OET Writing tasks to avoid losing easy marks

• practise with challenging case notes designed to train you on the difficult aspects that may surface in the exam.
