Preparation for OET

Both OET and Academic IELTS test your skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, but they serve different purposes and audiences. 

Each exam is challenging and requires focused preparation.

The OET assesses your ability to communicate effectively in real-life medical and clinical situations. It is a challenging test that requires good preparation. 

Success in OET depends on three key factors:

• your language skills (grammar and vocabulary)

• your clinical communication skills (such as collecting /giving medical information, showing empathy and adapting communication style to the audience)

• your understanding of the exam format and strategy.
